a lot of green
A green beauty to help usher in spring. The Kleven tree tunnel in Ukrain was formed by a private train which passes through it a few times a day. A romantic spot, as only nature can create. Found here, via automatism.

matto bar
A little recreated old world nostalgia from Shanghai this morning. An inspiring mix of plaid, honeycomb, pressed ceilings and industrial chic. Enjoy. Found at Yatzer, Designed by Pure Creative International

'the chair'
You know that you have made it when one of the 500 chairs you have designed is called 'the chair' . I'm having a Hans Wegner moment. These are my top 4, with my favourite being the bull chair. Now to redo our dining room so that I can indulge in a new dining room table and buy a few of these beauties. All found at danish furniture.

industrial townhouse
A contemporary delight to start this busy day off with. This converted warehouse in New York City, is focused inwards towards a courtyard clad in corten steel panels. The rusted copper tones continue inside, subtly contrasting with the floor to ceiling glass and white washed brickwork. A bold project. Found at archdaily, by Dean Wolf Architects

andy thornton
I had a quick trip to the UK last week, and managed to spend an hour in Andy Thornton drooling over the antiques with Lorien. If I'd known how amazing this mill was, I'd have moved things around and allowed for more time there, but alas I had a plane to catch. There are 4 floors of gloriousness where you'll find anything from stuffed animals, to complete rooms of panneling, mantle pieces to old post boxes. The hunting hare is fabulous, if only him and the gymnasium equipment were a little more conducive to being packed into a suitcase. I took so many snaps that I'll have to do another post a bit later to show you a few more...enjoy.
